Pros and cons of Jamie Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Jamie Magazine app good for

Update: they have now added 2 years of back issues, which covers my missing issues with a couple of bonuses. Thank you! Customer service did offer to send PDF files of any older ones so contact them if you are missing any. I like the new adding to clipboard feature. Anyone who has subscribed for over 6 months has just lost their entire collection with no warning. I have paid for these issues and want to have access to them. My emails are going unanswered. Im furious!
Its great! BUT the latest "italian" issue doesnt work at my ipad (5.1.1). it asks about update, but the app has been already updated (

Some bad moments

All my issues have disappeared, had to download them again. Not even sure wether they are complete.
The nice interactive app turns into a simple boring ePaper app!
If possible this would be a 0* star rating. The Jamie Magazine app used to be very good but with the app update 6.0 you get just an ugly pdf version of the printed issue. They force you to update the app to see the current issue. But worst thing is that you can see only the last 6 issues and all the other back issues are lost. I subscribed more than 5 years ago, so there are a lot of back issues that I paid and never see again. This all happened without informing anybody in advance. The support team isn’t helpful either. I’m really furious because I used the back issues quite often and now all the recipes are lost. Looks like somebody wants to save a lot of money. Jamie Oliver - never again!
Now it is only a PDF version and already paid for back issues are no longer available except for six and these are also only PDFs. This is a real rip off.
If you have bought some issue over time, dont update your App because the issues will be gone! This really sucks! Feels like deception because I have paid for those magazines! And I want them back.
I ended my subscription about a year ago and just like everybody else who rated this app here I cannot read the issues I have bought.
